Voice 1:
Richie was a fun-loving ringleader in my third grade classroom,
defending his rights with his fists whenever necessary.
He could never admit he was wrong; and he didn't trust
adults after his parents split up.
One day I accused Richie of something he didn't do,
so later I apologized and asked his forgiveness.
That really blew him away, I guess he never heard anyone
admit they were wrong.
It was the turning point; Richie began trusting me.
Voice 2:
Forgiveness helps others learn different ways to approach problems.
Voice 3:
From the Mennonite churches.
